After announcing the arrival of Mateus Fernandes, West Ham United would have prepared an offer to sign an offensive strengthening that Graham Potter loves.
Fernandes “excited” by West Ham Move
After a disastrous start to the season, West Ham hosted an essential strengthening to Fernandes. The midfielder officially arrived from Southampton in an agreement worth 42 million pounds sterling with additional modules and will now seek to make his mark on the side of Potter as soon as possible.
Speaking for the first time since its paper, Fernandes told the official West Ham website: “I am very happy to be here. I am very excited to play for West Ham. I think it’s a big step for me.
“It’s a big club, a massive club. The project, the stadium, the city, everything. I want to try to play football, enjoy football, not just running and trying to score, but trying to play good football. I think the most important thing is to try to give everything every day.”
After welcoming the midfielder’s star, West Ham is not finished there. Reports also indicate that they are on the right track to sign Soungoutou Magassa from Monaco to continue their late expenses.
It is not surprising that people from London Stadium are trying a wave of late spending. The Hammers endured a nightmare start for the season, losing three of three, and are suddenly among the favorites to cope with the drop.
Potter hopes that recent additions will finally reverse his mandate and that he avoids another dismissal from London. In addition, any pressure to run things will only increase if West Ham moves for a winger he would like before the transfer window is closed.

As Bild and relayed by Sport Witness reported, West Ham is now preparing an offer to sign Patrick Wimmer from Wolfsburg this week. Potter would be a fan of the winger and he dreamed of a move in the Premier League for some time.
Whether Wimmer is the answer to their problems or a repetition of recent transfer flops such as Crysencio Summerville and Niclas Fullkrug is the big question. A look at the figures should arouse the concern of West Ham.

Manchester City’s former goalkeeper Stefan Ortega has reiterated that Wimmer still has work to do, but also had a lot of praise for his former Arminia Bielefeld teammate, saying to journalists: “There is something crazy and concerned about him; he has a young madness.
