7 actors who could play the Batman of the DCU with Robert Pattinson out of the race

When DC Studios revealed films and television programs that will be part of “Chapter 1: Gods and monsters” at the beginning of 2023, The courageous and the fat was among the biggest surprises. We expected Batman to be included in this, but jumping directly into a story about the hero causing his son, Damian, as Robin is undeniably intriguing.
Matt Reeves’ The Batman II part will be released in theaters in 2027, and C-PDG of DC Studios and Superman Director James Gunn said Robert Pattinson several times not Give the course and the hood in the DCU.
So who should play this emblematic character? We expect Batman to be a little older than the steel man of David Corenswet, which automatically eliminates many otherwise exciting possibilities. This role is not easy to do for any actor, given the baggage he brings with him, but we think that one of the choices listed below would do the good of this character … and would be very different from the vigilante brood of Pattinson.
Find out who we think we can assume the role of Bruce Wayne in The courageous and the fat By clicking on the “Next” buttons https://comicbookmovie.com/ “Show the list” below.
7. Richard Madden
The role of the MCU of Richard Madden as Ikaris seemed to be one and made based on the events of EthernalsAnd although this is a real damage, we have an idea that it could lead to DC Studios to pick it up.
It is undeniable that he has the classic look of Bruce Wayne, and it is a jaw that we can easily imagine being under the hood. More importantly, he is a great actor who would give a little boastful at the Caped Crusader. Remember that he is a hero who is often the most intelligent man in the room and the kind of person who secretly plots how his colleagues member of justice League.
We believe that Madden would make a convincing father at the end of his attachment with his son, and Ikaris showed the kind of darkness and conflicting feelings that he could bring to the table for this role, as did Game of Thrones And Bodyguard.
6. Brandon Sklenar

It ends with us And Drop Brandon Sklenar’s star has become a firm fans favorite to play the Batman of the DCU, and we get it. It is a talented actor who looks at the game. Each actor we have chosen here would be an appropriate choice for Bruce Wayne And the black knight, and this is undoubtedly the case with the 1923 star.
Sklenar feels closer to the versions of Batman played by Michael Keaton, Christian Bale and Ben Affleck that Robert Pattinson, and this is probably crucial for the DCU.
The courageous and the fatCaped Crusader will have spent years protecting Gotham City and is a father. This last part is particularly important, and with the good young co-star, we are sure that Sklenar would come to life successfully on the screen which serves as a paternal figure not only in Damian Wayne, but also to Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon.
5. Taron Egerton

Formerly a favorite choice of fans for Spider-Man and, more recently, Wolverine, there is a certain call to Taron Egerton who joins the DCU as Batman.
THE Victory Star has proven an incredible talent in theaters and streaming, that we were talking about RocketApple TV + Black birdor Netflix Mega-Hit, Continue. Egerton is undoubtedly a phenomenal talent and could effortlessly do justice to this role. He is not foreign to action either, and it is alone a good start.
They can come from the same country, but Robert Pattinson and Egerton are two very different artists. We do not provide for real similarities between their respective sockets, and the Welsh is someone who has a chance to give fans the Batman of the comic strip that they were waiting for in this DCU.
4. Luke Evans

Luke Evans may well be one of the most underestimated talents working in Hollywood today, and it is legitimately shocking that he has still not joined the Marvel or DC universe.
The new start of the DCU could be enough to convince him, however, and a brutal Batman who does not take any sh * t could be exactly what the Welsh needs to lend his talents to this genre. As a capricious version of the vigilante, it would be an explosion to look at Evans to soften while the story takes place, finally becoming the attentive father Damian so cruelly needed.
Looking towards the future, imagining it alongside Superman and The Justice Gang is surprisingly easy, and Evans is such a qualified actor that we are confident to say that there are a ton of great ideas that he could bring to the DCU as his dark knight.
3. Winston Duke

We are not going to say that Marvel Studios wasted Winston Duke, but he could certainly have been given more to do Black Panther: Wakanda forever. As entertaining as the actor is also M’Baku, it’s time for Duke to put himself under the spotlight, and Batman would be a large part for him.
Unlike other actors listed here, he has a story with the Caped Crusader, having lent his voice to the hero in the Podcast series Batman not buried (where he did an excellent job). We are not going to talk too much about the race here because it shouldn’t matter, but a Black Bruce Wayne would be great to see on the screen and a huge opportunity for Duke.
This could also allow a young black actor or mixed race to put their stamp on Robin. Still not convinced? Discover the superb work of Duke in Nine days And WeThen come back to us.
2. Lee pace

Lee Pace worked with James Gunn on Galaxy goalkeeperswhere he played the villain Ronan the accuser. This could give it an advantage on some of the other names listed here, but Pace’s work speaks of itself.
From Snatch has Foundation And The Hobbit Trilogy, he never fails to impress and would make a black knight physically imposing on the screen. Again, the Batman of the DCU is likely to be quite experienced, which makes the rhythm for a version of this character who is a fighter of hardened crime and reconciles with being a father.
The courageous and the fat is a bit of a mystery for us, but if Gunn intends to derive strongly from the writing of the passage of Grant Morrison BatmanSo he will need an actor who can balance darkness with a certain strangeness, and even a little lightness.
1. Jensen Ackles

After playing in SmallvilleJensen Ackles went to Supernatural And stayed there for 15 seasons. Now he tries to show Hollywood that there is more for him than Dean Winchester.
Boys And Countdown helped this, and he did an excellent job by putting on the map, proving that Hollywood has neglected it for too long in the process. Ackles did not hide the fact that he wants to play Batman, and although he expressed it in several animated projects, a transition to live action would work well.
It would be one of those casting decisions that complain about fans, but the DCU needs them. There is no reason why DC studios only continue huge A-Bi, which is obvious to the perfect cast of David Corenswet as Superman. We know Ackles has what it takes to play Batman on the big screen and hope that Gunn and Safran will also do it.
