Tim Walz suggests that ice is `Modern Gestapo of Trump ” in the beginning of the beginning

Minnesota Democratic Governor Tim Walz compared immigration and customs application (ICE) executing the Trump administration’s immigration program at the Gestapo in a speech at the start of Saturday at the Faculty of Law of the University of Minnesota.

President Donald Trump has published several decrees to combat illegal immigration and border security, including the appointment of Mexican drug cartels and South and Central Gangs in South America as foreign terrorist organizations, and the president also invoked the extraterrestrial enemy law of 1798 to accelerate the deportation of Gangs members. Walz, the failed Democratic candidate for the vice-president in 2024, suggested during the speech that Trump uses ice to implement his immigration program in the same way as the way in which the German dictator Nazi Adolf Hitler used the secreto secret police to target adversaries, according to Realclearpolitics.

“Donald Trump’s modern Gestapo goes up people in the streets,” said Walz. “They are in unmarked vans, wearing masks, being shipped to foreign dungeons of torture – no chance of setting up a defense, not even a chance to kiss a loved one, has just seized by masked agents, pushed these vans and has disappeared.” (Related: Andy McCarthy says that Dem Reps who took over the installation of ice “open to prosecution”)

“To be clear, there is no way for us to know if they were really criminals or not, because they refused to make them a lawsuit,” continued Walz. “We are supposed to believe himself.”

The Democrats initially rallied around Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a member tried of MS -13 expelled in Salvador in March, as a symbol of resistance to Trump immigration policies, and several members of the Congress – notably the Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen – went to El Salvador to visit Abrego Garcia. The Trump administration published a 13-page file detailing the evidence suggesting that Greo Garcia is a member of the MS-13 gang in April, which included decisions of immigration courts who found that he was a member of the El Salvadoran prison.

The recent survey indicates that 48.3% of Americans have so far approved Trump’s approach to immigration and that 48.9% disapprove of, according to Realclearpolling. An information sheet from the White House published at the end of April has shown that border passages, migrant meetings and “gobbles” were all down 93% or more during the first 100 days of the Trump administration.

Walz also said Trump was trying to intimidate the members of the congress, referring to a chaotic incident on May 9, involving Democratic representatives of New Jersey. Bonnie Watson Coleman, Lamonica McIiver and Rob Menendez Jr. outside an Ice installation in Newark, New Jersey. Democratic legislators rejected reprehensible acts during an appearance of May 11 on CNN.

Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy has a tour of the Ice in Newark installation and discouraged her observations during Monday’s appearance on “Fox and Friends”.

“Ice has nothing to hide,” said Campos-Duffy. “They have nothing to be ashamed. This installation is so clean. He has, you know, all kinds of leisure facilities, the outdoor football field, weight equipment, Domino tables. He has phones everywhere with panels next to them of how they can, phone numbers to reach their consulate and also legal installations, computer cameras. ”

“There are doors in the rooms and they are not even locked,” continued Campos-Duffy. “The installation actually resembles a high school.”

Walz is considered a possible Democratic candidate for the presidency during the 2028 electoral cycle.
