Ryder Cup 2025: Bryson Dechambeau to lead the United States team to Friday four years while Jon Rahm opens again for Team Europe in New York | News Golf

Keegan Bradley named Bryson Dechambeau and Justin Thomas as a Team USA opening association for the Friday Foursomes, while Jon Rahm has led the Europe team again to New York.
Dechambeau – which returns to Team USA’s programming after missing the 2023 – Partners Thomas competition at 7:10 am Friday morning (12:10 p.m. in the United Kingdom), while Rahm is involved in the opening match for a fourth consecutive Ryder Cup.

Luke Donald, speaking to Golf canal: “We know that in the game game, you have to take a good start and these guys [Rahm and Hatton] were very successful together. They know how to win, get along well and are a solid partnership.
“The players and their profiles are playing, so you have to watch the personality matches. We have so many options that it’s fun for me as a captain.
“We know that the United States is strong. It has so many partnerships of incredible foursomes and we wanted to bring our best. We think it is our best.”
Keegan Bradley said at his press conference: “Besides the fact that he [DeChambeau] is a world class player and one of our best team players, we wanted to send an ardent group to lead us with these fans.
“Bryson savoring these opportunities. He is one of those guys where you hear a basketball team who wants the ball for the last blow. The same goes for Justin. Don’t forget, Justin is the heart rate of our team. They have to go out and be a really difficult team to beat.”
