Los Angeles (Kabc) – The new video captures the scary moment that a Delta Plane engine caught fire shortly after takeoff on Friday at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

The Boeing 767, carrying 9 crew members and 226 passengers, was on the way to Atlanta. The pilots had to turn around due to a problem with the left engine, according to Delta.

Delta flight 446 landed safely, and the plane was spread to the door without any fire sign at that time. The passengers were able to exceed normally.

The firefighters examined the plane as a safety precaution.

An investigation is now underway to determine what has not worked.

Delta said customers were reactive on a new plane to their final destinations.
