“The Tonight Show” is again on tiptoe on the weekend territory on his return from the summer vacation this year. The NBC Late Night series established four Sunday evening episodes for the rest of the year, to be broadcast after a few major NFL games.

Fallon will also have special episodes on October 26, after the Packers-Steelers game; November 16, after the Lions-Eagles match; And on December 7, after the Texans match. Guests and musical performances are still to be announced.
