Travis Kelce has public plans for Thanksgiving: an away game. The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas starting at 4:30 p.m. ET.
What’s less clear is whether his fiancée, Taylor Swift, will be in attendance at the sporting event. The singer has not attended any away games this season or last season, partly due to security concerns. For most of this year, Kelce and Swift have kept a low profile, and it’s unlikely the two will publicly share their exact plans for Turkey Day.
Last Thanksgiving, they managed to keep their celebration private. People later reported that Swift had hosted their families in Nashville.
While the couple went unnoticed for most of 2025, a source said Us every week on October 29, they prepare to celebrate the end of year holidays together.
“It will be very low-key, family-centered and [won’t involve any] major trip,” the source said. The outlet wrote that the two stars were reportedly “planning to share time with their respective families.”
Kelce also has a game on Christmas Day, even though it’s a home game. (Swift attended her 2023 Christmas game with her family, but she has kept a low profile every time she has attended her home games this year.)
The source added: “Travis fits in perfectly with his family and Taylor loves [his mom] Donna. They talk all the time. They make sure to see both sides as often as possible. They are very family oriented and they have always loved that about each other.
Last December, People got a rare glimpse into how the couple spent Thanksgiving in Nashville. “Taylor and Travis had a great Thanksgiving with their families,” a source said. “This is the first Thanksgiving they’ve celebrated together.”
Swift will soon be back in the spotlight as she prepares to release her Disney+ docuseries The end of an era and a concert film documenting his final performance on the Eras tour on December 12. Two episodes of the six-part documentary series will air each week until December 26.
The singer recently shared how excited she was for fans to see the project on Instagram: “Honestly, I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my (almost) birthday than reliving the Eras Tour with you! This time we’re going behind the scenes. ‘The End of an Era,’ a 6-episode behind-the-scenes documentary series, premieres on @disneyplus starting December 12th 🫶.” hinting that fans will also see an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look at their love story.
This is Kelce and Swift’s first holiday season as an engaged couple; the Kansas City tight end offered him this summer.
