Newcastle will know more about Livreo injury in “a few days”

Eddie Howe refused to give an indication of the duration of the duration of Tino Livramento after the defender of Newcastle United was abducted on a stretcher during the defeat of Sunday against Arsenal.
Livramento was forced in the 77th minute against Arsenal in a match that saw Newcastle lose 2-1 while the Gunners produced a moving response with late goals from Mikel Merino and Gabriel, the latter scored the winner in the sixth minute of additional time.
The cruel reality for Newcastle was that there would probably not have been eight minutes of stopping time if Livramento had avoided an apparent knee injury.
It has not yet been confirmed how long the back of England will be absent, but Howe has charged more from the gravity of the reverse in a few days.
Newcastle is still waiting for news from Livramento
“I would better wait before giving an indication on this subject because it could be a mistake,” said Howe at a press conference before the Champions League conflict on Wednesday with Union St. Gilloïse. “Let’s wait and see in the coming days.”
Newcastle only won once in the Premier League this season despite strong performances that deserved more. The defeat against Arsenal marked their second in the campaign, the two coming by wounders. Liverpool won 3-2 in St James’ Park in August through the last strike from Rio Ngumoha.
In the Champions League, Newcastle lost its first 2-1 game against Barcelona despite a fiery effort, the Howe team finally paid the prize for failing to take up several times in the first half.
Newcastle is the favorites for their first game outside the league phase against Belgian champions, however, Howe believing that they can use their latest late agony as fuel to launch their season.
“Arsenal’s defeat should be a motivator, not a hangover,” added Howe. “We had to do better in these last moments.
“It would have been a big point. We must use it as a motivation. “
SCHAR to come back to Newcastle
Howe confirmed that defender Fabian SCHAR is able to return from a concussion, giving Newcastle additional options to the rear after their rear action against Arsenal.
Union opened its league phase campaign with a superb 3-1 at the PSV Eindhoven.
Newcastle cannot afford to take its guests lightly, with midfielder Jelinton suspicious of not having much room for error, even in a phase of eight games.
“I feel good and the team feels good,” said Jelinton. “Everything is positive and we have the opportunity to win a match.
“It’s a massive game, we have a lot of games but we no longer have time to lose. I hope we can do it with good performance. ”
