Libre agent David Robertson could be an option for teams looking for aid to the enclosure of the LEVERS

For teams in search of aid to the enclosure of the lifts, another option at the commercial market persists in a free agency.
The right -handed veteran David Robertson, a free agent since the end of last season, launches interested clubs, Athletics learned.
Several teams, including New York and New York Yankees, have at least recently examined Robertson, league sources said. Several teams expect to attend one of its launch sessions in next week.

Robertson, who was 40 years old in April, did not appear in a match since the end of last September. While launching for the Texas Rangers, he continued to challenge his age concerns with another productive season. In 72 rounds (68 games), he had a 3.00 MPM with 99 stick withdrawals and 27 balls on balls. From 2022-24, it has an average of 63 appearances per season with a collective MPM of 2.82. Its cutter was on average 93.3 MPH in 2023 and 2024 after having registered at 93 MPH in 2022.
At the start of the last off-season, Robertson, who is self-represented, refused his end of a mutual option with the Rangers, making a salary of $ 7 million in 2025 in favor of a repair of $ 1.5 million and the possibility of testing the free agency. Since then, clubs have failed to respond to its requested price.
While Robertson is perhaps better known for his nine years with the Yankees – he was an All -Star with them in 2011 – he also launched for the Marlins of Miami, Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Tampa Bay Rays, Pets and Rangers.
With the commercial deadline from July 31 to around two and a half weeks, several teams related to the search for the enclosure of the lifts. Robertson presents a different path with a multitude of experience in playoffs and in high level roles.
