Jake Irvin of Nationals transports hot start -up sequences against cubs

Washington’s right -hander Jake Irvin is trying to win his fourth consecutive departure when the Nationals welcome the Chicago Cubs in the decisive match of a series of three games on Thursday.
Irvin (5-1, 3.93 ERA) will be opposed by the left-hander of Chicago, Drew Pomeranz (2-0, 0.00), who will work as a worker.
During his last three departures, Irvin went from good to large. On May 17, he granted two points in 6 1/3 rounds against the Baltimore Orioles. A week later, he launched eight -sleeves aimlessly and gave three shots in a victory against the Giants of San Francisco.
During his last outing, he gave six points out of 10 strokes in five rounds against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday, but has always been the winner. Irvin did not withdraw a striker and obtained only three swing and the failures at night.
“I know it’s a team that caused me a little problems in the past,” he said. “Maybe they just see the ball very well. But I think a lot of it is probably in many bad counts and not stay on the offensive as I like it.”
Irvin is 0-2 with an MPM of 9.00 in three starts against the Cubs.
Pomeranz will put his perfect era on the line while he will make his second consecutive appearance as the first match. He launched a perfect first round on Saturday against Cincinnati Reds while four cubs launchers combined for a whitening at once. He launched 13 2/3 innings this season, granting four strokes and three bullet goals while abandoning 15.
Everyone who launches Thursday will find it difficult to match what happened Wednesday evening. Mackenzie Gore from Washington launched seven lanches of money laundering and exceeded Matthew Boyd from Chicago, who took a perfect match in the sixth.
Amed Rosario Homered and Nasim Nunez produced a double RBI for Washington in a 2-0 victory. Rosario has extended his striking sequence at nine games in which he is 12 for 29 (0.414) with a circuit, three doubles, six points produced and four points. The two players were in the initial training for the first time in 10 days.
“Great victory,” said Gore. “The guys who did not play have intensified a huge tonight, which is cool to see. This is what the right teams do.”
The Nationals, who have won five of their last seven games, are looking for their third consecutive victory in series.
Boyd made 7 1/3 sleeves, granting two points in four strokes during his longest release since April 2021. The left-hander has a 5-3 file with a 3.01 MPM in his first full season since he underwent Tommy John surgery in June 2023.
“I think you see a fairly good version of him,” said receiver Carson Kelly, “and I think he’s going to improve.
The Cubs had won three games in a row and seven in eight before being excluded for the third time this season.
Seiya Suzuki of Chicago chose and participated in four appearances in four plates. He hit safely in 12 of his last 14 games, hitting .340 (18 for 53) during this period.
Cubs Right Fielder Kyle Tucker, who started every game this year until the finger is sitting Tuesday with a finger stuck, for sure the ninth round on Wednesday. Representing the green light race with marble, Tucker ended to finish the match.
