Rachel Reilly on this surprise elimination of season 27

The legend of “Big Brother” Rachel Reilly was eliminated in a shocking touch of season 27, but she enters the jury house of the show with a smile and a red killer dress.

The Thursday episode of the CBS Competition series saw Reilly, who previously participated in season 12 and won season 13, sit with host Julie Chen Moonves for an exit interview to unpack her surprise elimination – the result of a competition nicknamed “The White Locust”, which Reilly did not succeed.

“I saw my life as a” big brother “infiltrate before my eyes in this hamster wheel,” she said, reviving the game of the labyrinth. “I knew I was doing toast, unfortunately.”

Reilly shared some regrets on how her actions led the competition not to take place in his sense. Chen congratulated Reilly’s performance and recognized how she had not been explained and directed the match since the start of the season in July.

Although he became the first member of the jury in an end of twist, Reilly shared his gratitude to have the chance to return to the Longrunning series and to play once again, shouting her husband Brendon Villegas – whom she met in the series – and her two daughters as gifts she received from her time in the show.

“I’m so grateful to come back. It’s my favorite show. I’m a big fan,” said the reality TV veteran.

Reilly’s note could help appease longtime fans, who have been exasperated by the torsion ending in its history. After learning Reilly’s fate via the live flows of the show, viewers began to share indignation on social networks.

The comments were quickly joined by alumni of the show, such as Villegas, who defeated producers of spectacle for having moved away from the traditional mixture of competitions and social play of the show which led to elimination outside the weekly vote. Many fans have hypothesized that the notes would be affected by the result.

But the season continues, while Thursday’s episode presented the expulsion of Cliffton “Will” Williams. Next week will only see the broadcast of two -hour episodes Wednesday and Thursday – since the Primetime Emmy Awards television will take control of its usual Sunday time slot. Thursday’s episode will also have a double expulsion, while the Housegues figures decrease to the last three before the final of the season on September 28.
