Giants coach Brian Daboll said that “hanging through a thread”

Pauline reported on Friday that a source that Daboll and the defensive coordinator Shane Bowen, who was strongly criticized for her management of the loss of extension of the giants against the Dallas cowboys, is under fire.

Pauline, known mainly for her information on the NFL project, wrote:

The atmosphere in the locker room has gone to try to remain optimistic about the awareness that the team must win, and win soon, or both could be released before the end of the season.

Pauline also pointed out that an unbalanced defeat with chiefs could cause the insertion of the Recruit Jaxson Dart quarter in the week 4 programming against Los Angeles.

Pauline added that “the saving grace of Daboll could be Jaxson Dart playing competitive football once inserted in the programming, then showing progress on the ground.”

I was in this locker room on Thursday and I am not sure that the characterization of Pauline is completely exact. I was enough in the giants of the Giants to find out what it does when a team knows that a season is lost. I did not feel this kind of resignation during my time around players on Thursday. The play did not seem jovial or happy, but I did not feel that it was already defeated.

There were cases – on both sides of the ball – players wondering what they were asked to do. This somewhat raises my antenna.

The giants have now been 9-27 since the creation of the playoffs during the first year of Daboll as chief traction. They have a 1-13 file in their last 14 games. Since a 6-1 departure in 2022, the Giants have been 12-33-1.

What am I thinking about?

I could absolutely see Daboll in Bowen scapegoat and shoot him if the defense continues to fight. I do not know who would be raised by staff to end the season, but it would be a despair of classic despair of a coach under fire.

I also do not believe that the giants would dismiss Daboll without having a prolonged overview of Dart first. If the giants reach 0-4, it should not surprise anyone if Dart is the quarter-arre from week 5 against the Saints of New Orleans.
