Atlanta, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – We will see some showers and storms tonight while temperatures remain hot and strong. Some storms could produce strong showers and a frequent lightning. Most areas will remain dry, with 20% of storm chances throughout the evening.
The chances of rain will increase tomorrow afternoon, with 40% of rain and storms. The highest chances of rain will be after 2 p.m. and continue in the early evening.
More rain to end the week
A fresh front will slip into the Georgia in the North by the end of the week, which will increase our chances of rain before the weekend.

More rain will also mean cooler temperatures with summits falling in the 80s on Thursday.
