Eddie Howe wants to clarity on the future of the attacker

Newcastle United Manager Eddie Howe frankly spoke with uncertainty surrounding the future of Star striker Alexander Isak, admitting that current speculation has become an unwanted distraction for the club as the new season approaches.
The Magpies started their season without their star attacker and went to Villa Park to face Aston Villa.
The match ended 0-0 and it was clear that the Magpies lacked a finisher at the front, a position that Isak made his for the Howe team.
With the striker on strike to force a move to Liverpool, Howe and his team face a moment of uncertainty when they soon seek a resolution.
Eddie Howe wants a resolution at the Alexander Isak saga
At a press conference, Howe highlighted the importance of quickly resolving the issue, as reported by journalist Ben Jacobs.
“I hope it is resolved quickly because this is news around us all the time”, “ Howe said.
“We would like a resolution. When I say “we”, I’m talking about myself, property, players, everyone really, because I think we need this clarity this season. “
The Newcastle boss continued explaining that, ultimately, the decision lies in Isak’s hands:
“Nothing has changed, the door is well open. But Alex must decide what he wants to do. Alex controls what he does. I don’t control him.”
Isak must make a decision soon on his future

Isak was at the center of a summer transfer saga, with powerful links with Liverpool, which identified it as their target of attackers.
The Reds have already tested the resolution of Newcastle with a mammoth offer of 110 million pounds sterling earlier in the window, only so that it was quickly rejected by the Tyneside Club.
The Swedish international, who scored 27 goals in all competitions last season, has become essential for the attack configuration of Howe and a favorite of fans in St James’ Park.
Losing Isak would undoubtedly be a blow, but prolonging uncertainty could also disrupt the harmony of the squad.
