The defender of Crystal Palace, Marc Guehi, was strongly linked to the distance from the club this summer, and Liverpool wishes to secure his signature.
According to TBR Football, the president of Crystal Palace, Steve Parish, is now looking to sell the player in Liverpool. He wants the 25 -year -old to join the Champions of the Premier League, and he hopes that he will present an acceptable proposal for the defender.
Palais wants to sell Guehi now
The defender is in the last year of his contract, and Crystal Palace does not want to lose it during a free transfer next year. They hope to recover around 40 million pounds sterling for the defender. However, Liverpool hopes to sign him more close to 30 million pounds sterling. It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can reach an agreement.
Guehi has shown his quality in the Premier League regularly, and he is ready to take the next step in his career. He will want to join a large club where he can fight for major trophies. The move to Liverpool would be ideal for him.
Liverpool needs Marc Guehi
On the other hand, the Premier League champions also need a quality defender like him. They look quite vulnerable in the back in the past 12 months. Even in the opening matches of the season, they seem quite poor defensively. Crystal Palace and Bournemouth managed to exhibit their fragile defensive, and Liverpool cannot hope to win major trophies without improving in this department.
The English international will certainly help them tighten up in the back. He showed his quality with the club and the country, and there is no doubt that he is ready to play for the biggest clubs. It will be interesting to see how the situation takes place in the coming days.
