Connor McDavid’s wife Lauren highlights the “false ideas” and the “pressure” of being a hockey woman

The wife of the captain of Edmonton’s Oilers, Connor McDavid, Lauren Kyle, spoke of “false ideas” and “pressure” to be married to a professional hockey player.

Lauren said their conversations often revolved around the day, the game, what happened well and what did not do it. They make a point of focusing on how they can improve, sticking to advice they have formerly received.
“We are both leaders in one direction. He is captain of his team. I manage different employees. And although our careers are so different, the principles are the same … The errors are great. They exhibit gaps. And then you work to improve and find gaps.”
Once the series has ended, Lauren said she and Connor McDavid looked forward to a typical summer – doing the time to a few weddings, relaxing in their Muskoka chalet and spending quality time with friends.
