The New York Jets saw their season falter and lose steam, as they began the 2025 campaign with a 1-7 record through Week 9. After the departure of future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers after an injury-riddled year in the Big Apple, the team seemingly found no answers behind the quarterback combination of Justin Fields and Tyrod Taylor.

With the NFL trade deadline set for 4 p.m. ET today (November 4), the team could be looking to shed some of their expensive veterans. One name that has been mentioned in several rumors is that of big defensive tackle Quinnen Williams.

In a recent social media post, it was rumored that contenders like the Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Indianapolis Colts could be on the verge of trading for the dominant defender.

“At least 3 teams have called the Jets about DT Quinnen Williams: the Buccaneers, Chiefs and Colts,” Easton Butler revealed in an article on X.

It’s not yet clear whether Williams could end up in one of those destinations, but his ability to essentially “do it all” on defense makes him an intriguing addition to any team looking to make a serious playoff run.
