Ari emanuel podcast ‘rushmore’ debating goats starting on x exclusively

Who are the goats – the greatest of all time – deserving the honor of being chiselled in Mount Rushmore? Power agent Hollywood and Dealmaker Ari Emanuel launched a new podcast, “Rushmore”, with a friend and music director Ben Persky in which they discuss goats of all time in various categories.
“Rushmore” will be presented on September 30 exclusively on X, the social platform controlled by Elon Musk, which is friends with Emanuel. According to Emanuel, the idea of the podcast was born when he was on vacation recently with Musk: “We had a conversation on the” rushmore meals “- what would your last meal be?” Musk himself will be a guest in a future episodes. (Look at the trailer below.))
Emanuel has teamed up with Persky for the Podcast because “whenever we go on vacation together, we enter these verbal fights” on the largest or that in different fields. “It always ends with:” You are an idiot “-” No, you are an idiot “.”
“To be Candide, I just wanted to prove to Ben that I’m always right,” jokes Emanuel. He says that the “rushmore” podcast is “where the goat game we all love becomes real, played every week by some of the biggest names in culture”, adding in a spectacular way: “This is where legends – and Egos – collide”.
Why is it exclusively on X? In addition to Emanuel’s friendship with the technology magnate, Persky says that “X is naturally an ecosystem that facilitates conversation, in particular for” the best of the types of debate. We hope this will continue to be a conversation for a long time. ”
Note that on the Mount Rushmore National Memorial in the southern Dakota, there is literally no physical place for another face. Nevertheless, the supporters of Maga pushed apparently serious efforts for President Trump to be carved out of the facade.
The podcast series “Rushmore” will be available on the @Rushmoreonx and @ariemanuel accounts X accounts, with new episodes that will be published every Tuesday every Tuesday. Emanuel and Persky recorded 10 episodes and “we will do 10 others at the start of next year,” said Emanuel. “Then we will look at each other and we will see if it continues.”
In each episode, Emanuel and Persky are joined in the debate by two experts in the given field (with the only rule being that they cannot be eligible to be goats in the category). After the duo signed the agreement with X, under which they will receive a share of advertising revenue, they started to “call people in our Rolodex – and it just started to happen,” explains Emanuel.
The guests in the first batch of 10 episodes of “Rushmore” include Elon Musk, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Bobby Kotick, Shaquille O’Neal, Reggie Miller, Rick Rubin, Jimmy Iovine, Bob Costas, Al Michaels, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Jon Meacham, Jeff Deitch, in Ineze Vanwoun, Jeff Koons, Jeffrey Deitch, in Ineze Vanwoun, Jeff Koons, Jeffrey Deitch, in Ineze Vanwoun, Jeff Koons, Jeffrey Deitch, in Ineze Vanwoun, Jeff Koons, Jeffrey Deitch, in Ineze Vanwoun, Jeff Koons, Jeffrey Deitch, in Ineze Vanwoun, Jeff Koons, Jeffr Enninful.

While Emanuel, currently president of WME Group and CEO of TKO Group, is a powerful figure in entertainment biz, he is not exactly a social media star. His account on X (formerly Twitter) currently has around 10,000 subscribers – and it seems that he only displayed a handful of times on the platform, more recently in a post on Monday, the TKO agreement with Paramount Skydance for Zuffa boxing rights.
Meanwhile, remember that in 2022, Emanuel sent an SMS to Musk with an offer for Endeavor to take control of Twitter management for costs of $ 100 million, according to the biography of Walter Isaacson of Techno-Titan. According to Isaacson’s book, Jared Birchall, the director general of the Musk’s financial asset entity, called Emanuel’s text “the most insulting, most degraded insane message”.
“Rushmore” is produced by “The Pat McAfee Show” with the support of the Pantheon Media Group. Persky said that he and Emanaul wanted to work with McAfee “because he is so socially…. He has very natural and clear thoughts on the rate [of a podcast] And when turning things off.
Mitchell Smith, the original X-content manager of X, said in a press release: “As a group chat in the world, X is the platform to declare and debate what really defines grandeur, which makes` `rushmore ” a perfect adjustment for x originals. As a person who started their career in the WME mail hall, I have a complete appreciation for the prowess of their first project.
Emanuel co -founded the Endeavour talent agency in 1995 and was CEO of the company until earlier this year after entering private in a transaction with Silver Lake. He is now executive president of WME Group, the public name of Endeavour Group Holdings. He is also CEO and executive president of TKO Group, the parent of WWE and UFC whose training was facilitated by Endeavour.
