Jorginho believes that the full-back has strengths that can help in the Brazilian team’s tactical plan.
“He is a very strong player in marking, which is the first thing a full-back must have. Today we are thinking about attack, high-line marking, an attacking team… There is no doubt that it is very important, but, above all, a full-back must be a defender. He is very good one-on-one, he covers well… At the same time, I notice that on the pitch he communicates well and that is good for the back. Offensively, he is very good and he has increasingly improved his decision-making,” he stressed;
For the current coach, the competition on the team’s right wing is open, and both Paulo Henrique and Botafogo’s Vitinho could be on the final roster for the 2026 World Cup.

Paulo Henrique, mainly, plays at Vasco, a club with which I have a great identification… Today, there is not really a full-back already determined to be a starter.
