Finally, the song Ethan Hunt Swan by Tom Cruise, Mission: Impossible – The final calculationis now in theaters around the world and, after having experienced the film for ourselves, we have compiled a list of each adult of Easter eggs and reference that we have spotted throughout the blockbuster of almost three hours.
Although the most obvious reminders are sure to delight fans of all ages, in particular that one major reveals, there were also some deep cutting items that we have spotted and wanted to bring to everyone, including some fun and slightly obscure reminders to previous films.
In our examination, we said: “Mission: Impossible – The final calculation is the successful event of the summer action film! Tom Cruise delivered the epic final we were expecting, bringing the legendary Saga of Ethan Hunt’s IMF to a loved one and (largely) emotionally satisfactory. Filled with heart, humor and all the action that disturbs death and breathtaking that your heart wants, it is the mission: impossible for its best, but also its most indulgent. It remains to be seen if it is really the end, but, for the moment, let’s take advantage of everyone and celebrate one of the biggest films of films of all time. “”

The entity speaks
We will start with an easy while the film opens onto the entity using the voices of different characters from previous films to constitute a disturbing threat to Ethan Hunt (and the public). It is generally not a series that has too many reminders, but with the last, MCQ does its best to pay tribute to some of the biggest and best dialogues in the series.
Mission: Impossible II – Fight Knife & Long Hair

Later in the film, when Ethan climbed up on the USS Ohio, he almost left by an acolyte of the entity, who thinks that Ethan should not prevent the entity from carrying out his plan. They engage in a narrow knives fight, which reminded us a little of the knife fight between Ethan and Sean Ambrose Mission: Impossible II,.
While he had long hair in several payments, including Ghost protocol And Rogue nationCruise first wooded long hair in the second film, and has since become synonymous with the franchise. When Grace emphasizes that she prefers longer hair, it seems to be a nod to the public of constantly evolving hairstyles of Ethan as well as his most emblematic look.
Jim Phelps Jr.

One of the greatest first revelations comes when Ethan finds himself face to face with Jasper Briggs (Shea Whigham), which we understood to have a sort of resentment against our favorite IMF agent. Hunt himself then reveals that the real name of Briggs is in fact James Phelps Jr., which means that he is the son of Ethan’s original team leader, Jim Phelps! And, it seems that he has questions about the role of his father and Ethan in his disappearance.
Although there is a tension between them from the start, few others comes from this revelation and the pair repaired the fences after the exploits of Daredevil d’Ethan to save the world.
Mission: Impossible – Nation Voyue – Combat scene of the torture Chamber

Among the combat scenes, this is probably the most obvious recall. This happens when Ethan and Grace are captured by Gabriel and find themselves in a torture chamber very similar to that used by the OS Doctor in Rogue nation.
While neither Ethan ni grace are required to show their basic force to escape this time, Ethan still manages to make a wild escape and to fight a certain number of henchmen, completely impressing his last head.
Ethan’s “plans” or … the absence

While Benji is the team leader for a spell, everyone always turns to Ethan for a plan and well … He works there. After having revised the seven previous films, it is a recurring theme throughout the action in action with a half -cooked idea rather than something fully achieved. So it was really fun to see the world watching him for a plan and that he did his best to understand something on the fly, one last time.
Mission: Impossible – Phantom Protocol – Nuclear Apocalypse

The plan of the entity for nuclear apocalysis seems relatively similar to the plan once developed by Kurt Hendricks Ghost protocolAlthough the entity brings a minor change. Instead of using nuclear war to strengthen the remains of humanity, the entity just wants to destroy all humanity. Neat!
William Donloe and Sevastopol

William Donloe returns and plays an essential role in the location of Sevastopol, after having memorized his contact details during his iced exile. While many would imagine that it would be bitter after being relegated to the sea of Bering, it is comforting to learn that he is Happy Ethan did what he did. Otherwise, he would not have encountered the love of his life rapeesa and discovered what he was supposed to do.
Ethan’s knife

He also sends her back to Ethan’s knife – you know, the Ethan knife abandoned after entering the CIA safe to steal the list of nights so many years ago. It seems that it is really the end.
Phineas Phreak

After an emotional farewell with Ethan, Luther sacrifices herself in the most emotional moment of the film, and the last words are a direct reminder of his previous life as a world class pirate: “No one is safe from Phineas Phreak” – Rest in peace, brother!
Mission: Impossible – Fallout – Advanced nuclear bombs

Speaking of his sacrifice, the nuclear bomb he saw diffusing seems to be an advanced version of the plutonium nucleus bombs, he managed to deactivate during the final of Mission: Impossible – Pamip. Although he is once again able to launch a nuclear explosion, this time, it costs him his life.
May 22, 1996

President Erika Sloane (Angela Bassett) and Rear Admiral Neely (Hannah Waddingham) Exchange a note with the following date on it: may 22, 1996. In the film, it’s an important date where sloane and neely both lost someon they loved, but in terms of the franchise, it’s the us the USatrical release for the original Mission: Impossible.
Minority report

This can actually be difficult to spot in the film (via @jakestakes), but in the house of Donloe, there are a ton of VHS bands aligned against the wall – one of which is Steven Spielberg Minority reportAn acclaimed science fiction film of 2002 which did not play anyone other than Tom Cruise!
This would mean that Tom Cruise himself exists in the Mission: Impossible Universe, which is at least meta, and asks us if someone has already pointed out to Ethan Hunt that he somehow resembles actor Tom Cruise.
Also, by coincidence, Minority report Open the same weekend as the original animation Lilo & StitchAnd now Cruise finds himself again with the blue stranger as The final calculation opened in front of the new live action Lilo & Stitch. Bring stitch-positions to Stitch!
The foot of the rabbit / the anti-Dieu

Well, they finally did it.
After twenty years, we finally know what the foot of the rabbit is and it was well worth the wait. After capturing Ethan and Grace, Gabriel reveals that the “Rabbit’s foot” is in fact the basic module of the entity, which, if obtained, would give its possessor the control of the source code of the entity.
In Mi3, when he asked him questions about the foot of the rabbit, Benji says: “It’s interesting – I had this teacher at Oxford, okay? Doctor Wickham, his name was and he was, like this big guy, you know? Huge, big guy. We called it – You know, well, I will not tell you what we called it, but he taught biomolecular kinetics and cell dynamics. And in a way he had sort of frightened the subclasses with this story about the way the world would ultimately be avoided by technology.
You see, it was inevitable that a compound was created that he called the “anti-god”. It was like an accelerated mutator or in a way, you know, like one, an unstoppable force of destructive power, which would simply waste everything – for buildings and parks and streets and children and ice cream salons, do you know? So, every time I see, as a rogue organization ready to spend this sum of money on a mystery technology, I always suppose … It is anti-God. End of the world a bit of things, you know … But no, I have no idea what it is. I was only speculating.“”
Ethan remembers that, who calls him directly as anti-Dieu, and bringing the complete franchise. This raises even more questions: is Ethan the reason why the entity was unleashed, is he the architect of the destruction of the world? Or everything would have played in the same way, even if he had not stolen the foot of the rabbit? In addition, having defeated the anti-Dieu as the credits roll, Ethan drives out the new God?
Come on Tom, give us Mission: Impossible 9!
