The links and responses of today’s connections for May 12, 2025 (puzzle n ° 701)

Today Relations Puzzle presents many subjects focused on actions, locations and name concepts that bleed in each other with similar definitions. Since so many words of the puzzle today are close to each other, I found quite difficult to train the right pairs. The best answers today will come from a careful reflection, so you will have to be careful to succeed.
Similar to how you can get lost during a Box letter Puzzle Nyt game, today Relations That some answers seem easy from the start. However, even with subjects that seem to mix quickly, you must always think about the multiple contexts of each sentence. With Only four chances of making a mistakeYou might be fooled enough to fail entirely at the puzzle.
Category of today’s connections
May 12 # 701
The main strategy I used to resolve today’s puzzle was to Visualize what every word looks like and acts. Certain terms of the puzzle today are directly linked to places, objects or other names that you can easily imagine. On the other hand, other sentences are linked to the actions of the verb, even if they have another definition which makes them tangible enough to put them in apparently “easy” categories.
Use some of the following tips to help you refine today’s puzzle categories if you don’t know where to start looking for:
- A category concerns things related to places where you would find coins and a dollar tickets.
- A category concerns things related to the actions you take to send you something.
- A category concerns things related to the terms used to identify statistics on a website.
- A category concerns things related to the actions you can do using your lips.

This part of the puzzle seemed easy at first, because the bank, the ATM, the wallet and the handbag would all adapt as a category of items containing money. However, this was not the case, because even if ATM is a specific term for a place to keep the money, the handbag and the bank have much more meanings. The cash register and the Tipc pot are much more specific words referring to the places where the money is heldSo shrink the ideas is what helped me find the right answer.

Once I realized that the bank was not used in today’s puzzle as a term linked to money, I thought of how baskeball players broke the shots on a match. From there, I realized that The bank and the rebound were both similar terms for actions, alongside ricochet for how objects bounce back Out of surfaces. I had to look for what Carom meant, but its main definition corresponded perfectly to this part of the puzzle.

This part of the puzzle was easier to solve, because words like Smack and Pucker reflect actions to which the other sentences of the puzzle were not really related. After going beyond the initial confusion of the handbag, I imagined how Pucker referred to an action that someone does with his lips. From there, I thought of the way people curl up or fold their lips to form expressions, allowing me to come to the right answer.
