The police went to the parking lot of the Royal Palace Banquet Hall on Boulevard Stevenson between rue Albrae and Boulevard Cedar, and found two victims injured on the scene. The FPD initially reported that three victims had been injured during the shooting, but revised the issue on Saturday afternoon.
The speakers provided vital aid to one of the victims on the scene, but they died of their injuries.
The other victim was taken to the hospital, where they died of their injuries.
The identity of the two people killed was retained while waiting for the notification of their closest parents. The police noted that they were the third and fourth homicides of Fremont of 2025.
The Hall banquet published an Instagram story on Saturday evening offering its condolences to the victims.
“On behalf of the Royal Palace team, we wanted to give our deepest condolences to affected families,” said the Hall banquet on social networks. “We also want to clarify that the incident has nothing to do with the Royal Palace.”
The FPD investigators took over the shooting and determined by a preliminary investigation that “a suspicious vehicle went to the victims in a large parking lot and fired several shots,” said the ministry.
Investigators question witnesses and examine the regional surveillance video. No suspicious information has been published.
Anyone with information on the set has been asked to contact the FPD survey unit at 510-790-6900.
