The third part officially begins filming; Denis Villeneuve shares the first production

The cameras now roll on the third and final Dune Film (with Denis Villeneuve at the helm, at least), which will not be known as “Dune: Messie” as we had supposed on the basis of the previous comments of the filmmaker.
Villeneuve confirmed that Dune: Third part Now runs with a production that highlights the Arrakis sands.
“First, it is important that people understand that for me, it was really a diptych”, “ Villeneuve said about the first two films of a recent interview. “It was really a pair of films that will be the adaptation of the first book. It’s done and it’s over. If I do a third, what is in the writing process, it is not like a trilogy. It is strange to say that, but if I go back, it is to do something that feels different and has its own identity.”
Villeneuve said he had no intention of leading more films in the franchise, but that does not mean that Warner Bros. Will stop doing them! According to a recent rumor, the studio plans to move forward with at least one more Dune film, and they could watch Gareth Edwards (Rogue One, Godzilla, Jurassic World Rebirth) to take the bar.
The first two films were of great successes, but a fourth chapter would still be somewhat surprising given the direction in the saga of Frank Herbert after the second book.
New addition of distribution for Third part Include Robert Pattinson as the bad skytale, with Nakoa-Wolf Momoa and Ida Brooke like the twin children of Paul Atreids (Timothée Chalamet) and Chani (Zendaya), Leto II and Ghanima.
These characters are only introduced towards the end of Frank Herbert’s second novel, before playing much more important roles in the following books. Given the age of the actors playing the twins, this would obviously indicate that Villeneuve plans to incorporate at least certain elements of Dune children.
Jason Momoa will also return as “Ghola” by Duncan Idaho, just like Anya Taylor-Joy, who should play a much more important role as Alia Atreids.
“… in a trip to this country where we walk without imprints.”
The production began on the next film in the Dune Dune de Denis Villeneuve.
