Zuckerberg says that the superintendent of AI is “ in view ”, the “new era of personal empowerment”

The meta-PDG, Mark Zuckerberg, said on Wednesday that the creation of an superintendent artificial intelligence was “now in sight” and that it will announce a “new era of personal empowerment”.
Zuckerberg said that Meta’s approach will be “different from the others in the industry”, because it will focus on the development of AI’s superintendent in favor of people’s personal life, rather than directing AI to automate work – an increasing concern while more and more companies are moving to replace the entry -level roles with AI.
“The AI continues to accelerate, and in recent months we have started to see glimpse of AI systems to improve,” said Zuckerberg in a video published on Facebook. “So developing a superintelligence is now in sight, but there is this great question open to what should direct superintendent.”
“I think that an even more significant impact in our lives will come from all those who have a personal superintendent that helps you achieve your goals, to create what you want to see in the world, to be a best friend and to become the person you aspire to be,” said Zuckerberg.
Zuckerberg announced last month the creation of Meta Superintelligence Labs, a new unit of the company which will strive to develop these new technological capacities. This adventure towards superintelligence should cost Meta “hundreds of billions of dollars,” said Zuckerberg. The company also plans to build several IA “superclusters” for the development of superintelligence, one of which should be completed by next year.
People have turned more and more to AI chatbots for personal reasons, With a survey by the University of Elon, noting that 51% of respondents use important language models for personal efforts rather than work -related activities.
Zuckerberg added in the video that he believes that “personal devices like glasses” could be a large part of the superintendent in daily life, nodding to the development of Meta of IA glasses.
“I deeply believe in the construction of personal superintendent for everyone,” said Zuckerberg. “And at Meta, we have the resources necessary to build the required massive infrastructure and the ability to provide new technologies to billions of people.”
Meta is recruiting for the best AI talents. Openai CEO Sam Altman said last month that Meta was trying to poach Openai employees by offering them $ 100 million bonuses and remuneration packages. Altman has added that “so far, none of our best people has decided to take them on this.”
