For years and years we’ve had the Waymo vs. Tesla robotaxi debate. Who will win in the end? However, almost out of nowhere, Zoox stepped in and joined the party. And, let’s be honest, to start with, Las Vegas is a party.

Today the news is that Zoox has already established another huge partnership in Las Vegas. After partnering with Sphere, the robotaxi company is now also partnering with T-Mobile Arena. The giant live sports and entertainment site has named Zoox an official partner of the site.

Unsurprisingly, this is the first time T-Mobile Arena has partnered with a ride-sharing company like this. In fact, I don’t know of any sports and entertainment arena that has such a partnership. Consider this a first in general. However, this is actually an expansion of Zoox’s pre-existing relationship with the Vegas Golden Knights NHL team.

“This new relationship builds on Zoox’s growing presence in the Las Vegas sports and entertainment ecosystem, where the company has an existing partnership with the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights, who call T-Mobile Arena home. This new agreement deepens that relationship, making Zoox not only a team partner, but also an integral part of the venue experience. T-Mobile Arena welcomes more than a million visitors each year for more than 100 events, including Vegas Golden Knights games, major entertainment, concerts, special events and much more,” he said. sharing of press releases.

“T-Mobile Arena is part of a planned expansion of service for Zoox, which is expected to become an exciting new destination available to riders in early 2026 when they can request a self-driving ride to and from the venue. Visitors can expect this elevated transportation experience with a dedicated Zoox pick-up and drop-off lane at the arena’s west VIP entrance, exclusive rider benefits and distinctive Zoox wayfinding signage throughout the arena designed to allow riders to easily find their robotaxi.

I’m not going to lie: I didn’t have much hope for Zoox several months ago, unless it got a big boost from Amazon as a delivery tool. However, with its rollout announcements in Las Vegas and San Francisco in recent months, the company definitely intrigues me.

“This represents a transformative moment for both T-Mobile Arena and the future of transportation in Las Vegas,” said Sally Bae, senior vice president of global partnerships for AEG in Las Vegas. “By integrating Zoox’s innovative autonomous vehicle technology into our venue operations, we are not only improving accessibility for the millions of fans who visit us each year, but also strengthening our commitment to delivering cutting-edge experiences for our guests. This collaboration sets a new benchmark for how leading entertainment venues can embrace the future of mobility.”

Las Vegas has been the home of Zoox since 2019. It is now blooming and will surely be much more visible to residents and visitors in the coming year.

“In addition to enhancing the fan journey, Zoox’s sponsorship will also be brought to life through significant brand integration throughout the venue, including Zoox branding on the main concourse bar, inclusion in digital signage and wayfinding signage throughout the arena, and mention in visitor emails ‘Know Before You Go’ regarding venue transportation.

You can take a Zoox ride via the Zoox app.
