Zoë Kravitz will not resume her role as Selina Kyle / Catwoman in Part II of Batman

Batman ended with the Dark Knight and Selina Kyle separating. While Catwoman leaves Gotham behind, Batman promises to inspire hope in his city to move forward rather than take revenge on his criminal element.
In The penguinSelina wrote to her half-sister, Sofia Gigante, who had found herself locked up at Arkham’s state hospital. It seemed to be a point in the intrigue that we would see later in either The penguin Season 2 or The Batman II partAlthough the latter seems unlikely on the basis of a new rumor.
According to Jeff Sneider (@theinsneider), “During last week, journalists took the theft of Junket, journalists asked not to ask Zoe Kravitz questions about Batman part II because” she is not there and knows nothing “by source.”
“No word on the question of whether it is true, because we all know that the publicists lie, but it is the word in the street. Just say! Do not shoot the messenger.”
As Sneider points out, the publicists lie, and it could have been a way to prevent the junket be diverted by an endless flow of questions on the expected return of Catwoman Batman following. However, it is also possible that filmmaker Matt Reeves cannot find a place for the character in the sound script and Mattson Tomlin.
In many ways, The Batman II part does not need Catwoman because his story has reached an end widely appropriate in the first film (as for this Sofia teasing, it simply shows that Selina is still there somewhere, and is probably making a new life for herself). Nor can we reduce the possibility that DC Studios has its own plans for the female fatal in the DCU.
The courageous and the fat will resume with an experienced Batman who discovers that he has a 10 -year -old son, Damian. This means that he probably met Catwoman, and if she should take into account the film DC Studios – and the wider DCU – then that could have forced Reeves to go from Selina.
“We looked at cats and lions and how they fight”, “ Kravitz had previously said about his approach to the character, “And talked about what is really possible when you are my size, and Batman is so much stronger than me. What is my skills? It is fast and delicate. So we did a really interesting floor work that incorporated different types of martial arts and capoeira and a kind of feline and dance movement.”
She added, “It’s an original story for Selina. So it’s the beginning of her to understand who she is, beyond someone who tries to survive. I think there is a lot of space to grow and I think we are looking at what I am sure that it will be the fatal woman.”
The Batman II part should be published in theaters on October 1, 2027.
