The three-time Grammy Award winner, 47, is teaming up with the cruise line to launch the first artist-curated music venue at sea called Same Boat — a nod to the 2021 hit of the same name by the Zac Brown Band featuring Jimmy Buffett.
Cruise passengers can expect to experience this unique location on the cruise line’s new cruise ship. Breaking wave The ship – the largest vessel in its fleet – is expected to make its maiden sailing in January 2027 from Miami.

Brown is participating in the process of curating “every detail” of the new space, including the artwork, design and music programming, according to the company. The venue will reflect the personal style of frontman Zac Brown Band as well as the band’s musical influences.
Of curating the space, Brown says he knew from the start that he didn’t want to just “design a room” but rather create something that “really captures the spirit of Margaritaville at Sea.”
“Designing Same Boat was about bringing to life that laid-back energy that has always guided my music,” he says. “Every detail reflects pieces of my own journey – from the stage to the sea – all coming together to create a place where people can connect, share a drink, listen to great music and feel that incredible feeling of freedom that you only find at a show or on the open sea. It’s my kind of medicine.”
