Yzerman from Red Wings convinced that he will get an agreement with Patrick Kane

Patrick Kane expressed his desire to the Red Wings of Detroit after the season and the club wants him to return. The free agency starts at noon on Tuesday at noon and there is still no contract.
The managing director Steve Yzerman is convinced that he will have the future Hall of Famer.
“I always expect that we conclude an agreement with Patrick,” said Yzerman on Saturday after the draft. βIt’s a busy period for everyone. I had some discussions with Patrick and Pat Brisson, his agent. Once you have circumvented the project, the agents have many other things they do as well. So, I hope we can do something soon. β
Kane, 36, signed an extension of one year of $ 4 million the day before the start of the free agency last year and won an additional $ 1.75 million for the games played bonuses.
He led the team in points per game (1.05) after Todd McLellan took office as a coach (16 goals, 45 points in 43 games), thriving in a more aggressive offensive system. He has an average of 0.48 points per match in 29 games under Derek Lalonde (five goals, 14 points).
