C Palais 4 – 2 wolves

Crystal Palace has shook any FA Cup final wooden mouth to maintain their superior hope alive while Eddie Nketiah marked a double in a 4-2 victory against the Wolves.
Oliver Glasner rested most of his Wembley heroes, but faced one side of the Wolves with radical changes after consecutive defeats.
In the end, it is the marginal players of the Eagles, and Nketiah in particular, who would prove their value and move two points behind Fulham in 10th with a match to play – and would define a total of points of the Premier League in record of the club.
Not before early fear, however. Jorgen Strand Larsen hosted the head of a Wolves corner through the goal of Emmanuel Agbadou to score his first goal since his arrival in January and would win an advance that would last less than three minutes.
Nketiah and Romain Esse, making its first departure since a January movement from Millwall, have linked very well to the left with the weakness of the old before taking an opening space to bury the ball in the furthest corner.
For a player who lacks minutes and confidence in the south of London this season, it was an end of composure, and his second goal of a real attacker.
Daniel Munoz’s smart film released Ismaila Sarr out largely and the Nketiah’s back race was exactly what was necessary to return her home house and finish the turnaround and triple his count of the season in five minutes in the first half.
His second also scored his 50th goal in professional football. Speaking after the match, he said: “It is nice to reach this benchmark and I know that I can do much better and help the team. It’s a great way to finish the last home game and I want to contribute more next season.”
Ben Chilwell participated in the act after half -time with a very deviated free kick for his first goal in more than two years, before Strand Larsen gave Wolves Hope with a second corner – they had only managed three goals all season before the match.
One of the six Glasner changes compared to the FA Cup victory was Joel Ward’s inclusion for sending Selhurst Park. The 35 -year -old man was visibly emotional and fell on his knees in the center circle when he was replaced in his last match after 12 years and 363 appearances in southern London.
One of those who had abandoned still had time to embark on action, because Ebechi Eze, winner of the FA Cup match, had the last word of victory.
A late Palais counter while the wolves stacked the bodies forward reached the midfielder, whose scratched effort put the icing on the cake of a famous week for Crystal Palace – and which could still improve.
Pereira angry with the defending wolves
Wolves boss Vitor Pereira::
“We have made a lot of mistakes. This team is very dangerous in the counterattack. If we enter inside or in the middle, we know that if they will get the ball, they will create a rapid transition.
“When we were in the best time of the match to score 3-2, we had the chance to make 3-3 twice but another error finished the game. I cannot accept it.
“We have to keep our feet on the ground, calm again and be humble – run and fight and do tactical things.
“My team makes one with the organization and tactical maturity. Today, there have been too many mistakes for a match. The four goals were errors. All.”
Ward: what way to sign
Captain of the Crystal Palace Club Joel Ward said Sky Sports::
“What way of signing. I could not have written a better story and a better end. I feel honored and incredibly blessed to have this time in Palace and I look forward to the next challenge in front of me.
“There is a belief in this locker room and I am sure that these guys will advance this club. What an exciting period, I have been part of this club for so long. I will follow these guys next season, it’s an end of fairy tale for me.”
