Yu Darvish should make his debut in the Padres season on Monday against Arizona

San Diego – The right -hander of San Diego Padres, Yu Darvish, will be activated from the injured list and will make his seasonal debut on Monday evening at home against Arizona Diamondbacks.
The Japanese star has been sidelined since spring training by inflammation of the right elbow.
“It really comes from a physical point of view,” said manager Mike Shildt before the Padres finished a series against the Texas Rangers on Sunday evening. “We always have an open day on the calendar for Yu Darvish to start.”
Taking a start Monday evening will allow Darvish to take another departure before the stars break.
Darvish, who will be 39 years old on August 16, launched an enclosure session on Saturday after launching two simulated games against the minor leaguers in the past two weeks.
Darvish spent a lot of time in 2024 due to an elbow injury and a personal problem. He made five departures in September and finished the regular season with a file of 7-3 and an MPM of 3.31.
He launched well in two departures against the Los Angeles Dodgers in a series of Division of the National League, winning the victory 2 match and winning the defeat in match 5.
The paadres went from an advance of 2-1 in the series for not having marked in the last 24 rounds against the possible champions of the World Series.
