The Reds “now explore other defensive targets”, and in its transfer window report, Aouna added that the palace wanted 55 million euros (48 million pounds sterling) for Guehi and was insulted by Liverpool offers.
It remains to be seen how Liverpool put on the table for Guehi, but it seems that the defensive “monster” will line up against them at Wembley on August 10.
The 25 -year -old has even less than 12 months old on his Selhurst Park contract, so his future could be able to keep an eye, and it would not be a full shock if the FSG returned with a third offer in the coming weeks.
