Yankees trade for Jose Caballero de Rays in the middle of the game

In the middle of their four game final Thursday afternoon, the Yankees and Rays finalized an agreement to send the man of the utility of Tampa Bay Jose Caballero in New York.
The Rays will receive the Voltigator Everson Pereira and a player who will later be appointed Yankees.
Caballero was seen to greet his teammates with the news of his business in the Pirogue Visit at the Yankee stadium while the rivals of the American League East finished a morning interrupted in the rain. The Yankees won 7-4.

Caballero led the American League last season with 44 stolen bases (out of 60 attempts) and is tied for the head in the majors this year with 34 interceptions.
Pereira, 24, played 27 games in the Majors for New York in 2023, but has stayed in the minor leagues since.
In a separate decision, the Yankees treated the inner field player Oswald Peraza at Los Angeles Angels for the 18 -year -old external prospect Wilberson de Pena and the Bass of the international swimming pool.
Peraza, 25, was leaving for Yankees at the third goal, the second goal and the Copstist this season, but he fell from the alignment after New York acquired Ryan McMahon from Colorado last week. Peraza has only struck 0.152 this year and is a career striker. 190 with seven circuits and 30 points produced in 145 games since 2022.
