Passers -by, armed citizens confront crossing City Walmart Mass Mass Noupbing Suspicious at Dramatic Moment – Redstate
As Redstate reported, there was a stabbing incident in a Walmart to City Traverse, Michigan on Saturday.
The officials say that at least 11 people have been injured, six in a critical way and five in serious condition to date, after a man who is in detention but who has not yet been identified has started his attack around 4:45 p.m., the local time near cash registrants. All the victims were transported to the Munson Medical Center nearby for treatment. Some of them would have needed surgery.
Described as a 42 -year -old resident who acted alone in “random” attacks using a “folding style knife”, the suspect was partly apprehended to “the participation of citizens”, according to the sheriff of the County of Grand Traverse Michael D. Shea.
“It was a joint effort until, as I mentioned, the citizens, and fortunately, no one else was injured. Eleven is eleven, but thank God, it was no more,” said Shea at the press conference:

In an update on this story, the video of this citizens’ involvement was shared by the local media and shows an armed man and other passers -by courageously confronted with the suspect in the parking lot of the Walmart, demanding that he drop his weapon. The other buyers who also seem to be indicated in the video who seem to try to provide help and comfort to one of the victims.
The deputies of the sheriff’s office arrived shortly after and took the handcuffed suspect. No reason has been given.
