WWE star faces racism

A female WWE star recently faced racism. The Stamford-based promotion’s superstars are often subjected to hate and vitriol online, and another talent has had to deal with such comments.
SmackDown star Michin has been pulled from the remainder of WWE’s Holiday Tour after suffering a shoulder injury. She had participated in matches against Jade Cargill, but due to her injury she will not be able to continue the race.
Thanks for the submission!
As the news was shared online, a user on X (Twitter) made fun of his injury. They wrote that “karma is ab*tch,” under an article discussing Michin’s injury. But that wasn’t all.
A look at the user’s feed shows that they targeted Michin with racist comments about his heritage. In a WWE video on X, where the SmackDown star addresses Jade Cargill, the user made a vile comment.
“Why does this Chinese woman talk like that? I don’t understand,” the user wrote.
Despite the reluctance of some users who came to support the 36-year-old star, the user continued to target her with racist remarks.
“I don’t need to cosplay outside of Korean culture to get ahead,” the user said.
Michin responded to these comments with a simple message about X, saying that injuries bring out the worst in people.
Michin aims for WWE Women’s Championship
Jade Cargill has put the SmackDown women’s division on notice after winning the Women’s Championship from Tiffany Stratton.
However, Michin has been trying to get Cargill’s attention for weeks now and is eyeing his stock. They have been involved in a few backstage segments in recent weeks on SmackDown.
During one segment, Cargill attacked Michin and then decimated her in the ring when Michin came out for revenge. The two were set to face each other for the championship on the first SmackDown of 2026, but Michin’s injury put those plans on hold.
