WWE has missed the golden luck to correctly honor Hulk Hogan, according to the former writer (exclusive)

The former WWE writer, Vince Russo, recently talked about the tribute package of Hulk Hogan. The company honored the wrestling icon during Smackdown this Friday.

WWE remembered the legend with a hi ten beautiful at the start of the show. Several superstars and legends stood at the entrance while Hunter paid tribute to Hulk Hogan. During the show, WWE also broadcast a video package, told by Triple H, honoring the heritage of the Immortal One.

This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Brodawn With Mac Davis, Russo stressed that WWE could have used several legends, such as Ted Dibiase, SGT. Slaughter, Jimmy Hart and Hacksaw Jim Duggan to make the voiceover instead. He estimated that it would have had a greater impact and added an emotional touch to the tribute honoring the life and inheritance of Hulk Hogan.

“I have to tell you, look at the guys you had on this scene. You had a lot of guys who worked, earned a lot of money with Hogan. Was great if they all had a song.

He added that WWE perhaps worked on a short notice and had to compile the package quickly and therefore opted for triple H for the narration.

“But I will give them the benefit of the doubt, Mac, because they probably didn’t have much time to bring it together. So they probably needed someone, do you know what I mean?” [4:30 onwards]

The sudden death of Hulk Hogan has sent shock waves around the world, with celebrities, wrestlers and fans of the list shared their condolences.
