Wwe, aew rumors on Bronson Reed, Andrade Contracts and Kenny Omega against Kyle Fletcher

Bleacher Report keeps you informed of the latest news from the WWE and All Elite Wrestling universe.
Bronson Reed has signed a new contract with WWE
In the midst of the greatest push in his career, Bronson Reed and WWE have agreed with the terms of a new long -term contract.
According to Fightful Select (by Steve Carrier of Ringside News), the new Reed agreement was in fact signed “long ago”.
The exact duration of the Reed contract is unknown, but it would be a multi -year agreement.
Reed is in his second visit to WWE, having returned to promotion in December 2022 after being released in the summer of 2021. He started hanging out in the middle of the card and obtaining high -level matches against stars like Gunther and Shinsuke Nakamura.
It was in 2024 that Reed really started to take off, starting with his victory at André The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. This summer, he attacked Seth Rollins under one of the most important angles in RAW and was part of the Bloodline team during the main event of the Survivor Series.
An injury put Reed Reed for several months, but since his return in May during the Main Event of Saturday Night, he was a Main-Event player as part of The Vision with Rollins, Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman.
Given the importance that WWE gives to Reed according to the one with whom he has aligned himself at the moment and his recent match in single with Roman Reigns in Clash in Paris, his new agreement is a great reward for one of the best heels on the whole list.
AEW has planned Andrade’s return before signing
Andrade’s return to AEW in the episode of Dynamite last week was a surprise for fans for many reasons, but it was something Tony Khan and the creative team have been thinking for some time before it took place.
According to Fightful Select (with Felix Upton of Ringside News), the Andrade contract was finalized at some point last week, but AEW already had creative plans in place for him before the agreement was concluded.
El Idolo appeared on Dynamite by attacking Kenny Omega after a match at six and aligning themselves on the Don Callis family. He had just been released by WWE at some point in September, apparently for several violations of the wellness policy.
Even if the release of Andrade took place during the last month, it was authorized to sign with another promotion almost instantly because its agreement did not include a 90-day non-competition clause.
Andrade has already worked for AEW from 2021 to 23 before returning to WWE. His initial passage included simple matches with Bryan Danielson, Darby Allin, Rey Fenix and Daniel Garcia.
Based on the angle used to bring it back, Andrade is embarking on a very publicized quarrel with Omega. His partnership with the Don Callis family also suggests that it is planned to make him a main actor in the heel for promotion.
Aew delays the Omega match against Fletcher
Even if Aew had planted the seeds of a single omega fight with Kyle Fletcher last month, the angle with Andrade Wednesday suggests that there was a pivot somewhere along the way.
By Dave Meltzer of Information bulletin of the wrestling observer (H/T Upton), “Omega’s physical situation is not 100 percent” and the creative plans have adjusted to avoid putting it in a situation where he might not have the match caliber that everyone would expect with Fletcher at this stage.
A Fletcher-Omega match seemed to be organized in the September 3 episode of Dynamite when the Protostar beat Omega after an eight match that removed the Best Bout Machine on television for a month.
Although it seems that it is still planned to come in combat, Aew has done a smart job by being able to pivot using Andrade’s return to align it with Fletcher in the Don Callis family and attack Omega.
This opens a path that Omega must travel before finally ensuring his fight with Fletcher since there will be two pay-per-views to come after Wrestledream on October 18.
