The whole of the Australian leg, Alana King, recalled a special memory of childhood to meet her idol, the late Shane Warne, and how her simple words stayed with her throughout her cricket trip. King, who represents Australia internationally and plays domestic cricket for Australia-Western and Perth Scotchers, met Warne for the first time when she was about 12 years old during a school or a clinic of vacation coaches. Surrounded by other children, she has received advice that has guided her career since. “I met Warnie (Shane Warne) when I was about 12 years old, as well as many other children who were there for a school clinic or a school holiday clinic.
