Woody MCCLA is moving away from Cam Newton Interview in tears after discussing the enumeration of black Hollywood men

The actor Wood MCCLA enters a new chapter, paternity – a milestone which, according to him, has moved his point of view on his career.

For many of us, actor Woody McClain is the man behind characters like Cain Tejada in “Power Book II: Ghost” or modern representations of the R&B singer Bobby Brown. And although he has the ability to captivate the public so well that they associate it with these fictitious characters in the real world, McClain is looking for more.

In a recent interview with Cam Newton, the actor was invited to think about his acting process, which in turn aroused emotions for MCClain. Although he trusts authenticity, he admits that he has concerns to be placed in a box. Just as social media recognizes him for this representation of Gangster by Cain Tejada, he remembers an exercise in his first class of actor who placed him in a box.

“My first actor lesson that I followed in Los Angeles, they did this exercise on the first day of lessons and you have all these players in there and then [the instructor] There is a chair at the front of the room, “he said, explaining how the activity involved other students in the class that launches the person on the chair.” So I’m sitting on the chair and everyone says “Bad boy”, “The Thug”, “The Killer”. I hear this thing. They do not know me … This moment made me realize that people judge you before even speaking, before even saying anything.

Although he once had the habit of “choosing any type” to feed his desire to act, he now says that he looks at things very differently.

“I want to be very strategic of what I choose because I do not want everyone to continue to perceive me as this bad person,” he started to explain before becoming visibly emotional. While his voice began to tremble, the actor finally got up from his seat and left out camera to compose.

Back at his headquarters, sniffing and wiping his tears, McClain explained how hard he worked to “not be considered this young Woody”, who would assume any role.

“I want to be a model. I want to be that person that people can admire or go. And I did not allow anyone to put myself in a box, “he continued.

In addition to his emotional confession, McClain revealed that he was about to be a father for the twins, another important step which, according to him, played a role in the change of mind.

“Discover that I have twins on the way, two baby girls. And for any reason, now in the acting community, people identify you with what you play,” he explained. “So I don’t want my little girls to grow up and think their father is a bad person, so I’m just more aware of the art I put in the universe.”

“It’s frightening because I don’t know about being a father, so everything is vague at that time, trying to understand it,” he concluded.
