Jon Stewart surprises Jimmy Kimmel, the nickname “M. Freedom of expression ‘

Jimmy Kimmel had a familiar face to join him during the episode of Thursday of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, As Jon Stewart jumped halfway from the monologue.

Kimmel, who is currently shooting his late evening show in New York as part of his “Brooklyn Week”, finished his latest review of the Trump administration when he was interrupted with a delivery of Grubhub for the companion Guillermo Rodriguez.

Before a long time, it was revealed that the delivery man – who covered his face with a facial mask – was actually Stewart.

“In case you have not heard the news, the Talk-show animators at the end of the evening, employment security is not really there for the moment,” joked Stewart. “So I have to balance certain things. And to be quite frank, I lost a ton of money on the food.”

After depliating the failure of the dishes to go to the playoffs this year, Stewart asked to stay for the expected appearance of Bruce Springsteen – with Kimmel ok before chasing him out of the stage.

It prompted Stewart to roast in a fun way Kimmel, because he noted: “I’m sorry, Mr. Freedom of Expression. I forgot that freedom of expression is only for Mr. Free Speech. ”

Stewart clearly threw Kimmel, however, when he whispered quietly: “I love you”, before hugging his late peer.

Hollywood rallied around Kimmel in recent weeks after the latter has been briefly suspended after triggering the controversy with comments on the alleged killer of Charlie Kirk. The suspension occurred after the condemnation of the Trump administration, including the president of the FCC, Brendan Carr, with a lot of accusation of the president and his men to attack the first amendment.

Kimmel returned in the air on September 23 after a suspension of several days, but was not restored on the Nexstar and Sinclair stations until the end of last week.

“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Airs of weekdays at 11:35 p.m. on ABC.
