A 68 -year -old woman was hit several times and struck on the ground as she was trying to stop in a parking space in Brooklyn, cops said on Saturday.
The victim was about to park outside the food bazaar supermarket on Manhattan Ave. Near Moore St. at East Williamsburg when a man and a woman took place behind her in a green sedan around 7:40 p.m. on August 13.
The woman tried to wave the couple, indicating that she was about to get started on the spot when the man got out of her car, approached her driver’s side window and started arguing with her, she told the police.
While the altercation continued, the victim came out of his car, said cops. It was then that the other woman stormed and started knocking on her in the face, striking her on the asphalt in the parking lot.
The couple jumped into their car and accelerated. They were seen for the last time to head east on rue Varet, said cops.
EMS precipitated the woman in Woodhull hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries.
The cops have recovered images from the couple’s surveillance and have extinguished the images in the hope that someone recognizes them.
The female suspect was seen for the last time wearing a gray shirt, gray pants, a black jacket and white sneakers. The man with whom she wore a white tank top, black pants and a black head envelope.
The incident came as a criminal aggressions in the Williamsburg region, which is protected by the 90th district, experienced an 8% drop in assaults, from 195 to 178, according to the NYPD.
The criminal assault numbers are decreasing throughout the city, but only from 1% – from 18,814 this time last year to 18,603.
