While the regular WNBA season ends this month, the eliminatory race is intensifying for each match – which makes it an ideal moment to bet on the league.

New York Liberty against Golden State Valkyries

The Valkyries were striated in the last month, making a sequence of four consecutive victories, followed by a slippage of three games. They are currently on the rise, however, with three consecutive victories that pushed them in the sixth seed and two and a half games before the Ninth-Place Los Angeles Sparks.

Golden State is disjointed and remains an unexpected competitor of the playoffs, although his recent success is somewhat misleading. Two of his three victories came against unleashed teams (Dallas Wings and Washington Mystics), while the third was above Indiana fever. His three-game slide came against the post-season locks.

Ionescu has hovered over this number in recent weeks, but its effectiveness has been appalling. Since August 5, it has on average 13.8 points while pulling 33.9% in the field and 25.9% of the 3 -point range.

The Avare Defense of Golden State (76.8 points authorized per game, less in the WNBA) should continue to frustrate it.

Indiana Fever against Phoenix Mercure

The fever has managed to remain afloat despite the loss of Caitlin Clark and his injuries to Aari McDonald, Sydney Colson and Sophie Cunningham. However, they slipped into the eighth and last seed of playoffs.

Indiana has been 6-7 since August 1, while Phoenix has 9-4 above this period. The Mercury also won four games in a row, including victories over Golden State, Los Angeles and New York.

The fever ahead of Phoenix 107-101 at their meeting on July 30, but McDonald, Cunningham and Colson combined 47 points in this victory. In the revenge match of August 7, Alyssa Thomas propelled mercury with a triple-double in a 95-60 victory. Phoenix should again take advantage of the exhausted Indiana list.

The Indiana attack was cooled after a hot August, not having reached 80 points in each of its last two games. Phoenix ranks fourth in defense and should further delete fever, while his attack is average, creating conditions for a low score game.

Accessories handle: Kelsey Mitchell under 20.5 points (-132)
Mitchell was limited to 14 and 12 points in his last two outings. In two previous games against Phoenix, she only totaled 20 points. Expect that Mercury’s defense will continue to lock it.
