Wissa publishes a demanding declaration to leave Brentford before the transfer of transfer

Yoane Wissa urged Brentford to honor what he claims to be a promise to let him go this summer, accusing the club “unduly stand on his way” of a transfer to Newcastle.

With only two days in the transfer window, Dr. Congo International is frustrated that Brentford has rejected two offers from Newcastle – the last value of 35 million pounds Sterling plus 5 million pounds sterling in additional modules.

Sources suggest that bees initially assessed Wissa at 40 million pounds sterling, but their price requested has since reached around 60 million pounds sterling.

Wissa, which has scored 49 goals in 149 games since its participation in 2021, has not presented for the first team this season and trained separately from the team of Keith Andrews.

In a press release published on social networks, the 27 -year -old clearly indicated his position.

“I remained silent for much of the summer, but with only hours of the transfer window, I feel forced to specify that I want to leave Brentford. I believe that the club is unduly on my way despite a series of fair offers throughout the summer.

“While the window is coming to an end, the club has now considerably changed its position, going against what has been communicated.

“It left me in a difficult and frustrating position. The promise I could leave this summer was not filled. It saddens me to have to write this, and I maintain total respect for the club and its fans.”

Wissa continued by stressing that staying against his wishes would open what was a successful spell in western London.

“Being done to stay beyond this summer will only tarnish four wonderful years in this incredible club and I therefore ask Brentford owners and directors to honor their promise to let me go in the last hours of the window.”

Wissa cut the pre-season camp of Brentford runs in Portugal after having clearly explained his desire to join Newcastle. While he returned to the training in the first team briefly, he has since worked far from the main team.

The striker – who scored 19 Premier League goals last season – also deleted all the content linked to Brentford from his social networks.

In his statement, he added that he had “open discussions” with senior management earlier in summer, during which he claims to be told that “the club would not set me if a reasonable offer was received. This has also been put in writing. ”

He continued: “I clearly mean that I did not act in a non -professional way, and I do not want to leave Brentford on bad terms.

“I was transparent in my position everywhere. I continued to communicate openly with the club and drive myself in a way that reflects my values as a footballer and human being.

“I hope that a fair and reasonable resolution can still be found before the transfer window is closed. In the meantime, I have to do what I think is good for my career and family and insist that Brentford honors their promise to let me join a new club and at a fair price. ”
