Will Fox cancel Dave Portnoy after a diatone of lightning deadlines worthy of the whipping? Initially appeared on sports new

Dave Portnoy’s experience with Fox Sports could be anchored before you can take off.

During the last episode of the Big Noon kick -off network on Saturday morning, the Barstool host did not waste the opportunity to take a chance to Ryan Day and Ohio State, but then pivoted a diatribe on lightning delays.

Portnoy broadcast its frustration about games that take more than four hours due to the weather.

“I’m tired of lightning delays in university football,” said Portnoy. “I do not remember having grown up, you have four or five games that have four hours delays. Everyone entering, sign an exemption. If you are struck by lightning, that much.

Portnoy colleague Brady Quinn immediately replied by saying: “I think Dave should be struck by lightning before starting to talk about it.” Rob Stone immediately closed it saying, “We don’t ask for that.”

Fox added Portnoy and his Barstool team before the start of the season. A decision that was not a good look for the network after coherent weeks of blunders. However, it could take the cake and rethink Fox decision-makers or correct Portnoy actions.

“We are delighted to welcome Dave Portnoy and Barstool Sports to the Fox Sports family. Dave has built a unique brand that connects with a new generation of sports fans – authentic, daring and original. Their unique voice and their faithful fans make them a natural adjustment for our evolution of the multiplatform strategy ”.

“Everyone in Barstool is super excited to associate with the Fox Sports family,” said Dave Portnoy, owner of Sports and founder barstool. “In our two decades history, we have never had the chance to work with so many talents and resources. We are looking forward to collaborating and bringing our voice to Fox Sports.”

We will see if the tone remains the same after the lack of concern of Portnoy concerning security.
