Will Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, De’Andre Hunter will play game 4 for Cavs

Indianapolis-The three players of horsemen struck who returned to the action and helped a 126-104 victory against the Indiana Pacers in match 3 of the semi-finals of the Eastern Conference were not listed on Saturday May 10, an injury report before match 4 on Sunday, May 11.

This is the way of the Cavs to indicate the stars striker Evan Mobley (wrapped to the left left), the leader of the stars Darius Garland (wrapped on the left) and the wing of’Andre Hunter (thumbs up on the right ride) are all supposed to play again. Until about half an hour before match 3, they were listed as questionable.

“We were all just recording to see how everyone’s rehabilitation takes place and what he is getting away,” said Mobley on May 9 after the Cavs reduced their deficit to 2-1 in the series of eliminatory series for the best of seven. “I have the impression that the whole team was really back and knew what we were getting through.

“It’s just a part of the playoffs. The guys are injured, and you have to try to come back as soon as possible. And today it was day, and I have the impression that it was the right time to come back.”

The CAVS held an optional training on Saturday May 10 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The attackers Dean Wade and Isaac Okoro were the only regular members of the rotation who participated.

Given that Mobley, Garland and Hunter succeeded in match 3, it is not surprising that they were supposed to play in match 4. However, their absence from the injury report on the eve of match 4 does not confirm any significant setback.

As expected, Mobley, Garland and Hunter participated in Shootaround before match 4 on the morning of May 11 in Indy.

Here is what these three key players have done in match 3:

Evan Mobley returns from ankle injury to help the Cavs beat the pacers in match 3

After having suffered a sprained ankle on May 4 in match 1 and sitting on match 2 on May 6, Mobley started match 3 and scored 18 points out of 13 shots from the ground, including 1 out of 3 on the 3 points. He collected 13 rebounds, four assists, three interceptions and three shots blocked in 35 minutes. He played at the front of a 3-2 defense the Cavs deployed in the second quarter, a change from their typical 2-3 zone, and dominated in a way that we would expect from the defensive player of the year of the NBA 2024-25, provided that he is able to move quite well while undergoing an injury.

“It was very impressive,” said Wade. “He wants to be there, he wants to fight and compete with everyone. So I know that he missed this match, [and it] It was difficult for him, but he will go out and compete.

“When I saw him move yesterday, I said to myself:” Dude, it’s impressive. “I saw how hard he worked these days between the games and his rehabilitation and everything, so it was very impressive.

Mobley said he couldn’t put pressure on his left leg and put on a walking boot the day after match 1.

The determination helped Mobley’s rapid return, and the Cavs Tristan Thompson center has seen many evidence behind the scenes.

“I think that with him, he gets this defensive player of the year, I think it’s a bit like giving him the additional motivation to go for the next one,” said Thompson. “I said from the first day, he has this kg [Kevin Garnett]ANNOUNCEMENT [Anthony Davis] Type of special unicorn talent in this league, and I think he understands that he is one of the guys. He will be one of the next big big ones of our league, and I think it is a lot of pride. And you can see this with his dedication and be locked up ready to leave. “”

Cavs Darius Garland returns from the toe injuries against the Pacers

Garland missed four consecutive qualifying games with a large, trampled toe that he suffered in the regular season and aggravated on April 23 during match 2 of a first round scan against Miami Heat. He started match 3 against the Pacers and scored 10 points on the shooting of 3 out of 11, including 2 out of 3 on 3 points. He collected three passes and a rebound in 25 minutes. He won three faults in the first quarter and bloodied his left knee halfway from the third quarter. However, he returned to start the fourth quarter, when he scored five points with a 3 -point pointer and two successful free throws. His presence alone has put pressure on the goalkeeper Donovan Mitchell because the Cavs had another ball manager who could set up their attack. Mitchell, who played a calf tension without being registered on the injury report, scored a summit of 43 points.

“These are the playoffs. Everyone has to go through,” said Thompson. “I know DG better than anyone. I know how much he wants. I know how hungry he has been since last summer. So you have to push through it. Everyone. Everyone is struck. No one is 100%. You just have to push the bank and then withdraw from yourself when you get the game.”

Garland has done as much packaging as possible to stay ready to inactive, but he conceded “nothing really describes a game like that in the atmosphere of the playoffs”. Due to the nature of his injury, his training sessions were mainly limited to a Versaclimber, by bicycle and jogging on the anti-gravity and submarines treadmills.

“You don’t understand what I’m going through,” said Garland. “I mean, everyone had their opinion [about whether I could have played earlier]. Go there and play basketball, everyone has cuts and bruises at that time, then [I’m] Go there to win this series. »»

Wing de’Andre Hunter returns from thumb injuries to the playoffs

Like Mobley, Hunter missed match 2 after suffering an injury in the match 1. His straight firing inch in a hard fall. In match 3, Hunter did not carry any type of equipment on his injured hand. He came out of the bench for the first time with 7:11 to do at the first quarter and scored eight points on 2 shots out of 6 on the field, including 1 out of 3. He also caught five rebounds and recorded 21 minutes.
