Will Carlos Cuevas compensate for his sister Aída?

Mexico, July 20 (El Universal) .- Aída Cuevas declares that he is ready to forgive his brother; However, the legal process, through which they face, must take its course, which is why it clarified that there is no case with compensation that Carlos should pay for it, because it is a decision that his lawyers will take.

Ranchero’s singer was invited to the most recent function of “Las Lioneson” and, during her meeting with the press, she spoke of the acquittal that she obtained, after justice favored her, faced with the request that her brother Carlos filed moral damage.

“I won, I won the trial and (the resolution) is final,” said Cuevas, despite the fact that Carlos lawyers have already appealed, before the decision of the courts.

Aída has been acquitted since June 2024, however, the singer had not wanted to make him known, for trying to maintain the question with a certain discretion.

It was on June 10, when the artist’s lawyer, Mr. Enrique González Casanova, went to study the “sale” to publicize the acquittal, after the search for Carlos to be remunerated – by the demand for moral damage – with more than 25 million pesos.

Relieved, the singer said that after losing the request, she does not know where she would have obtained the amount that her brother demanded thanks to civil demand.

“They were almost 26 years old (MDP), but no, it was not done … If I had lost, I think I would have paid … I don’t know what,” he said.

He has said that, so far, he does not know what amount that his lawyers will ask for Carlos as an economic repair.

“It’s seeing my lawyers, the truth is that I don’t know,” he said.

Cuevas did not specify if this compensation is another sum of money that his brother will have to pay, in addition to the correspondent for the call of expenses and coasts (which he has used), so that the singer of Boleros takes care of a fraction of what Aída paid, throughout the process, his legal advisers.

When the singer was asked about the question of whether she would forgive payment for her brother, if she did not have enough money to resolve the compensation, she said it was a problem that is not in her hands, but in that of law experts.

“I do not know that my lawyers will make, sincerely, I swear,” he reiterated.

However, he pointed out that what her brother’s money wants the least and that, the important thing, is that this affair concludes to regain peace.

“I don’t want money because, for me, it would be dirty money, everything I want is to leave me alone, already … that you are in peace, and that God and my parents, who are in heaven, forgive.”

He denied that he was looking for public apology, but that it will be his lawyers who will need what will happen, although he said that, despite everything, she forgives him.

“I really forgive him by heart.”

What triggered the differences between the Cuevas brothers?

In 2020, after four years, Carlos said before the press that if he did not get along with Aída, it was because she had disturbed her to discredit her, after saying that Juan Gabriel had asked her for marriage three times, the singer gave her version of the events.

In the “Ventaneando” forum, Aída entrusted Pati Chapoy who, in reality, had been fractured for 30 years, which is because of the teasing and humiliations that her brother used against her.
