Wilcox increases the movement to sign “Next Mbappe” for Man Utd

If a ship flows, the quality of the bow will not do much to get things done, it doesn’t matter how much. For Manchester United, there is Rasmus Hojlund, who may feel a little “dragged to dry” after his miserable campaign as an erik ten hag then the central striker of Ruben Amorim.
Signed by Atalanta for 72 million pounds sterling in 2023, Hojlund, 22 years old
But four goals last season and routine difficulties to show his skills reduced Hojlund to ignominy, and rumors go up that he will return to Serie this summer.
It is for the better, for Man United, you have to refresh the ranks and prepare for a descent of several clubs for their star attacker.
Targets of the UTD man striker
Man United has brought a blow to their efforts to bring Amorim together with the Lisbon Sports Superstar Viktor Gyokerres because the Swedish scorer would now have favorably the move to Arsenal.
It is a pill that is difficult to swallow, but after finishing 15th in the league and lost the final of the Europa League, it is understandable. Gyoker is 27, after all.
Instead, Ineos could launch an offensive on Napoli for Victor Osimhen, ESPN saying that United has turned their attention to the Nigerian striker and could make an official offer in the coming days. Osimhen has a release clause of 75 million euros (64 million pounds sterling) and is also wanted by Al Hilal and Galatasaray.
After scoring 37 goals from 41 on loan with Gala last year, Osimhen would certainly prove an upgrade on Hojlund, but United seems to be ready to push a different track.
According to the Florian Prettenberg of Heaven Germany, Man United now accelerates their movement to sign Hugo Ekitike.
They were in contact with the entourage of the player during the weekend, expressing “a concrete interest” for the French, having already been locked in talks with Eintracht Francfurt.
While Frankfurt holds 100 million euros (85 million pounds sterling), the 22 -year -old representatives informed the contenders that their customer could in fact be available for cheaper costs when the push manages to push.
It should be noted that Liverpool and Chelsea remain firmly in the race, but with the Premier League champions who have not yet unloaded Darwin Nunez and the blues ringing alternatives, Jason Wilcox and Co could take advantage of this opportunity to strike now.
What Hugo Ekitike could bring to Man Utd
Ekitike scored 22 goals and imposed 12 assists in 48 games in his first full season for Frankfurt, which has the first Talent Jacek Kulig scout to affirm “that he could certainly reach levels of world class attackers”.
Technically clear and skillful on the ball, Ekitike also ranked among the 4% of the most top attackers through the top five European leagues last year for progressive rails and successful sockets by 90, according to Fbref, highlighting its rhythm and its dribble capacity.
A postponement is considered to be progressive if the ball is moved towards the objective of the opponent at least 10 meters from its starting point or is transported to the penalty zone.
For this reason, it is certainly not surprising that the French striker was labeled “the next MBAPPE” of the journalist Graeme Bailey in the past, with the incomparable athletics of the Blues and the energy strengthening a deadly scorer capacity.
But in fact, it could prove to be the new version of Anthony Martial by Man United, which could rather be less inhibited by injuries.
After several bitter years as a peripheral member of the Man United team, the 29 -year -old martial was relocated to Greece with Aek Athens, where he experienced a resurgence campaign, scoring nine goals and providing two assists in 23 games.
But it was once a phenomenon, arriving in the Premier League a clear and fast advance whose rhythm and power saw it prospering on the wing or in a more central typing berth.
The same goes for Ekitike, although it is clearly favored as an attacker. Given that Martial has largely fallen because of persistent injuries, it could prove to go further than the former Red Devils star and become a major player for many years, supporting a high level of performance.
On the modern market, United will have to pay a premium for a player such as Ekitike, but they did the same with another path forward French when, and in the previous stages of his career in England, it seemed that the Glazers had, for once, had received Bang for their money.
Looking at the Martial 2019/20 Premier League 2019/20 campaign, when he scored 17 times in 34 appearances, also helping seven goals, he was at the top of his powers, and you can see how he corresponds to Ekitike in the past year for Frankfurt.
Could it be that the current hotshot has higher skills? That it could use its athletic and technical qualities to even exceed the best version of Martial?

As you can see, the two players through the respective seasons have produced sustained performances to write at home, but the movement, energy and tenacity of Ekitike can be observed through its recovery, its box control and its multiple facets.
No quantity of revisionism will remove the memory of Martial in his pump, bursting on the scene as one of the most prodigious talents, hailed like a “Ferrari” who looked like “a 100 million pound sterling player” by expert Owen Hargreaves in 2020.
Obviously, he was once in the same sphere as Ekitike, probably even above his compatriot.
Emerging from the Monaco talent factory a few years before Mbappe, it is easy to see why Martial took place in such high esteem, with his first years representing a player capable of conquering the world.
Ekitike was raised in another part of France, but he has the dynamic qualities to imitate his compatriot and become a superstar at Old Trafford, which could lead to renewal if necessary.
