Why was the Bridgerton star Simone Ashley withdrawn from the F1 film

Brad Pitt’s “F1” (alias “F1: The Movie”) recently released in theaters and generated a lot of buzz at the start. This has a large part to do with his fascinating representation of Formula 1 race, thanks to the objective of the director of “Top Gun: Maverick”, Joseph Kosinski. “F1”, consequently, was a great success for Apple at the Porte box office. Unfortunately, however, an actor who had originally played a more important role in the film ended up dropping his screen time to almost nothing.
Simone Ashley, whom many people will know under the name of Kate Sharma of season 2 of “Bridgeton”, were originally to play alongside Pitt, Javier Bardem and Damson Idris in the racing blockbuster. However, her role was essentially cut off from the film, although it appears briefly in a scene without line. So what happened? In an interview with People, Kosinski explained that everything was refining the images in the editing room:
“This happens on each film, where you have to shoot more than you can use it. There were two or three scenarios that ultimately did [it] in the final cup. But Simone is an incredible talent, an incredible actress, an incredible singer, and I would like to work with her again. “”
“I have a very small part, but I am grateful to be in this film,” said Ashley before speaking to her. “I was able to discover many great prices. I don’t think I will still do something like it.”
Simone Ashley does not seem to have a grudge against F1
It is not as if Kosinski was heartless or that it is out of the ordinary. The actors are removed from films all the time during the publishing process. In fact, several actors were cut off from “Captain America: Brave New World” by Marvel, earlier this year. There are also countless other examples. It’s just the nature of the beast, especially when it concerns large budget and successful cinema. Small budget films tend to have fewer sequences with which working, so it’s less frequent, although it can still happen.
As it stands, “F1” lasts two hours and 35 minutes. Something had to give. Anyway, Ashley does not seem to have a grudge against the whole situation. She even attended the film’s premiere in London and had very beautiful things to say about it. Taking on Instagram, Ashley expressed his joy to bring together with the cast and the team, while encouraging people to go see the film:
“It was a joy to find the cast and the team, and to celebrate – I could not be more proud to watch everyone shine on the screen and on the carpet, while wearing my Balmain Couture dress which made me feel just as radiant. I left with friendships and memories that I will cherish forever.
Ashley’s career always seems to be a very good place, as disappointing as it can be. Earlier this year, his Rom-Com “Photo This” became a hit streaming on the privileged video. She should also return to “Bridgeton” next year and has the psychological thriller “this tempting madness” in the pending liberation.
“F1” is now in theaters.
