Why the Michigan RB Jordan Marshall thinks that the Wolverines offensive will shine

Michigan back Jordan Marshall did not avoid talking grandiose about the offensive potential of Wolverines in 2025.

During a golf release last month, the first -year student of Redshirt described the UM offensive as “frightening” and predicted that the team would be in the running for a national championship this winter. Now, halfway through the fall camp, Marshall’s tone has not controlled – if anything, it has become more optimistic about the prospects of Michigan.

“It was not like that last year. We didn’t make a ball the ball. We were not,” said Marshall. “And see the explosive pieces that not only the runners have, but the receivers, the amount of energy that we have when someone else makes games – that’s when you know you have a good team when you are disinterested, and this is my favorite part of this team, it is a disinterested offense.

“… It’s a team totally different from the one I saw last year and it makes me so happy to be here and to be in this place because I really think, really that we are going to compete for a national championship this year.”

This answer was to a question on Michigan’s Receiver Corps, which had a hard time producing throughout the 2024 season. Asked about the pass sensors that stood out early in the camp, Marshall first appointed Marlin Kleinthen wide Donaven McCulleyAnd MorganWho “is flowing”.

“For Chip and coach Moore to balance their attack and put it on the ground, it’s scary, and we challenged our defense,” said Marshall. “And to have this competitiveness with our defense which, once again, I have already said, we play the best defense every day. To go against these guys and have this competition juice, it will be a frightening team.”

The offense is newly directed by Lindsey chip,, Who joined the program This offseason of North Carolina. Marshall thinks that Lindsey can present the talent of the wolverines in the quarter-Arrière, to receivers and in ball carrier.

“He came from the UNC and he had an excellent quarter-back, large receivers, an excellent ball carrier, so that they know what he can do and how he can make sure that everyone’s tools and how they play are on the film,” said Marshall. And, for the part of Lindsey, the coach “is excited because he has not been part of a team that is as physical, and this team is physical to all”.

Regarding the runner, Marshall dropped his favorite adjective – “scary” – during the description of a group featuring several players who “could go play ball elsewhere and start”.

“Our saying this summer was the team on me, and I really believe that. If I have to execute the ball once, 10 times, anything, if I have to spend a block, I will just go there and do my best and help this team win,” said Marshall. “And in the end, I know that justice thinks in the same way.

“I know Kuz thinks the same way. I know that Micah thinks the same way and I’m just excited to see what this room does. Again, it’s not just me and justice. This room is something special.”
