Their early 2000s film Something’s Gotta Give was a big success, with Diane winning a Golden Globe. They reportedly bonded during and after this film and remained close until his death. Keanu Reeves also played a role in this film and the Canadian has fond memories of his collaboration with Diane.
Jack isn’t the type of person to share his feelings with anyone, but apparently Diane was one of those he often confided in. Her death apparently made Jack realize that his time might soon come. The One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest star is 88 years old and hasn’t appeared in a film since 2010.
He has repeatedly turned down offers to return to Hollywood despite reportedly rarely going out to socialize. This makes many worry that he may suffer from something serious like dementia or obesity. Jack did a lot of partying during his early years in the business, according to an insider, and he was lucky to live that long.
Jack’s career in Hollywood spanned more than five decades, with the actor winning three Academy Awards and six Golden Globes. For years, he regularly attended Los Angeles Lakers home games, although he doesn’t seem to go as often anymore.
