Flood Watch and Winter Storm Warning in Effect for Las Vegas Valley

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — FOX5 is monitoring weather conditions across the Las Vegas Valley as a winter storm warning and flood watch has been issued.
FIRST WEATHER ALERT: A flood watch is in effect Tuesday in Las Vegas
FOX5 meteorologists say rain is expected between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. Tuesday. Flooding could be possible in the event of heavy rain. Temperatures are expected in the 50s throughout the day.
According to weather alerts from the National Weather Service, the Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the Sheep Range and Spring Mountains from 10 p.m. Monday to 4 a.m. Wednesday. Officials say a mix of rain and snow is expected over Kyle Canyon through Tuesday before it changes to snow by sunset.
A flood watch is in effect for Lake Mead, Las Vegas, Clark County and southern Nye County from Monday evening through Tuesday evening.
